Summer holiday club
VBS (Vacation Bible School) is our summer holiday club for children: three days of Bible stories, songs, crafts, games and a lot of fun, run by volunteers from Spring Valley Church. It is one of the highlights of our year.
VBS 2026: AVATAR – thank you!
Our 2026 VBS, AVATAR, ran from Thursday 27 to Saturday 29 August 2026. Thank you to every parent who brought their children, and to every volunteer who taught, cooked, drove and cleaned up.
VBS 2027: coming next summer
Dates will be announced soon. Follow us on WhatsApp or Facebook, or check our Events page.
The next VBS
VBS happens every summer. Dates, ages and the online registration link for the next one are announced here, on our Facebook page and by WhatsApp. Children do not need to attend our church to come.
Good to know
- VBS is run under the safeguarding policy of Assemblies of God Great Britain, to which our church is affiliated. See the AoG safeguarding information.
- Children are registered in advance, and we ask about allergies and medical needs so the kitchen and leaders can keep every child safe.
- Parents tell us at registration who will bring and collect their children.
